Dancing with the Phoenix presents healing attitudes about cancer. The phoenix is a mythological bird who rises whole and reborn from its own ashes. It symbolizes inner renewal that occurs when we face a devastating event by opening to a greater experience of Life. For the artists in this show, a cancer diagnosis was such an event. In this beautiful and inspiring exhibit of more than 100 pieces of their artwork and poetry, they share their healing journeys.
